The Iowa Youth Symposium is a Model UN conference hosted by Iowa high school advisors at the Capitol building in Des Moines each fall. This conference focuses on the creation of a position paper and the writing of formal resolutions for topics related to issues faced by the United Nations. Schools represent the United States' point of view for this conference.

The 2023 Iowa Youth Symposium will take place Tuesday, October 31 - Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.
Registration is closed for the 2023 Iowa Youth Symposium.
Payments are due in full by October 20th,
and no refunds will be issued after the deadline.
